We would like to congratulate the 2024 FOP Lodge 24 Foundation Golf Tournament winning team of Junior Evans, Rick Mendez, Eric Driedger and Guy Avenetti. They took home the championship jackets and other winning prizes.

47th Annual Peace Officer Memorial Service

The Fraternal Order of Police Yuma Lodge #24 will be holding the 47th Annual Peace Officer Memorial Service for the Yuma Area. We hold our event on May 15th of every year and Honor the Law Enforcement Officers who either died on duty or were killed in the line of duty while serving the citizens within Yuma County. Our earliest recorded line of duty death was Yuma County Sheriff Cornelius Sage on May 3rd, 1865.

FOP Lodge 24 Foundation Inaugural Scholarship

The FOP Lodge 24 Foundation is proud to announce the inaugural scholarship opportunity for current high school seniors and current college students. Dependents and grandchildren of current FOP and FOPA members in good standing are eligible for one of the $1,000 scholarships. The completed application is due by April 30th, 2024 and is to be submitted to any FOP Lodge 24 Foundation board member. See the attached application for complete rules of the scholarship. 2nd Annual FOP Lodge 24 Foundation Golf Tournament

Attached is a flyer for the 2nd annual FOP Lodge 24 Foundation Golf Tournament (the FOP’s 501.c.3 foundation) that is going to be held on May 10th at Desert Hill Golf Course. The proceeds for this tournament will go towards helping mental health for all first responders, their families and other local non-profit organizations. I am asking for your assistance to pass this along to any person that you might think would being interested in playing in it, or sponsoring a team.
